Hi guys...i've noticed in a few messages that some people are having trouble with some of there dvd's playing in standalone players and the dvd either pauses or stops playing alltogether near the end of the dvd.
I had the same problem and found the solution was simple.

From the start i had been labeling all my dvd's except for the time i ran out of labels..I noticed that the ones that were labeled were getting alot hotter than the ones that wernt and the ones that wernt labeled also didnt have any trouble with playing on standalone players..So since i have stopped labeling my dvd's i have not had one problem with my backups..

Hope this helps everyone that has the same problem..i'd be interested if anyone else has had the same result..

Thanks for that, but most of us realized that some time ago. Lots of posts about label problems. More common when the DVD skips near the end of the video is using crappy media. Easy cure if you really want to use that cheap stuff is to make your DVD shorter and not burn to the outside edge. That's where most cheap media fails.

Better is to spend a few dollars more and buy a higher quality brand.

    And welcome to our forums.
