    i found a game backup and it was on a cd-r, 700 mb disk. the games works fine but all my other games are on dvd-r disks. is there anyway i can make a backup of a game and put it on a cd-r disks? is there anyway i can make the files smaller without getting rid of any of the files?

    There are ways and means of making files smaller (compression tools such as winrar, winzip etc) but I'm pretty confident that you'll find that most files will be tightly compacted already.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    if i can compress the files and put it on a cd-r disk will i still be able to play the game on my ps2?

    Just out of interest ssaamm why do you want to compress it if it will fit on a cd-r anyway?

    i do not want to make a backup of the game already on the cd-r disk, i want to create a backup of another game.
