Hello, I recently purchased a 12 dvd set of a television show I watched when I was young. The menu's are very nicely animated but most of the links do not work. Even more confusing is how the same menu appears for a good bit of the dvd's besides them having differing content. I have recreated all menu's in photoshop and have created my own motion menus.

Working on the first disc and running into some problems!
My source dvd files amount to around 3.20Gb but end up being around 1.5GB when compiled. The menu buttons are correctly linked to each chapter point and yet only the first one works. Two others lead to unset chapter points and the rest do nothing.

I do recieve the open GOP's error when importing the vob files.
Please help me out here, I have 11 more to go after this and once I get passed the 1st I should be able to finish the project quickly.

    Here is the compile log

To begin with, I don't understand how the content can go from 3.2gb to 1.5gb during compilation. DVD Lab shouldn't reduce the size at all, let alone by over 50%.

Second, always demux your audio and video and use the elementary streams in DLP. Don't use VOBs from other sources as the assets. DLP is designed to work best with elementary streams, which is why it asks to demux when you try to use VOBs.

Third, are you linking all your chapter points manually ? DLP doesn't import chapter points from VOBs automatically.

What program should I use to demux the vob files? All chapter points were added manually. The reason for the small output size is that its only taking clips from the vobs instead of the entire video.

maybe if you imported the entire movie as a whole(drag vob1 to assets and select join and demux) or imported each episode as a separate movie you would have an easier time. also it looks like from the log you have no main(1) vts menu? that won't work at all.

Thx your suggestion worked. Used join option and demultiplexed file to elementary. Chapters work fine now.
