I was wondering if there is a way that I can have my outlook express email account that is on my desktop, shared with my laptop so it can check and send email in both places?
They are on the same network if that matters.
thanks so much

Yes, you just have to set it up to send and receive in Outlook Express - You will have to tell OE to leave mesages on the server if you don't want them scattered between two machines (if your email provider allows it).

so, the emails would be on the email providers server, not in my inbox?
would it be like how you check free web based emails, like MSN or Yahoo emails?

NO! by default, outlook express will download the mail from the server.
first, to easily transfer your email settings, click tools/accounts/mail, select account(s) you wish to copy, and click 'export'. this will create a file you can import to other computer using the same procedure.
next, to keep your email on the server, click that account, click properties/advanced, and check 'leave a copy of messages on server'. this will let you read same mail from both computers.
...cool video!I am just a worthless liar,
