    when i start it up, it asks me to select between my dvd/CDR iomega drive or virlual image drive. when i select my dvd/cdr, it says this version is only valid for creative roms....
    i am using their latest version...5.5.24

    Hi,

    Guess you registered with the wrong key. The new Nero 5.5 has different kind of key for different kind of burners. You just registered you "copy" of nero with a Creative Burner Bundeled key.

    I guess you will have to uninstall (to remove the current key) and then reïnstall using a valid (!) key for your burner, or a universal key.
