    My E-85H keeps spinning long after I turned it off. Sometimes after overnight I found the unit's harddrive to be spinning. Can it be the coolong fan ?.
    I don't think so. Sound like HD for sure.
    What is going on ?.

    How does it get the TV guide updates ?.
    Off the air ?.
    I don't see any phone jack in the back and I don't subscribe to cables or dish.
    When I turn on the unit, it always display the TV guide menu ?.
    How do I bypass this ?.

    From the setup menu you can turn it off. Do you have your manual?

    It updates tvguide at night whether you have cable or not until you turn that off, also from the setup menu.
