Is there a way to sort (alphabetically) the menus in DLP's tree? I find it odd that one would not be able to sort the data alphabetically....

Don't believe you can. Suggest it in the DVD Lab Pro forums at MediaChance and it might get into a future release.

You can move them around using Project/Change Order of Items.

If you had the ability to "Sort" them, would you also expect the navigation links to update as well (like buttons on a menu that include a command to "Go to Next/Prev/First Menu") Or is it just a "visually" sorted function you are looking for? Keep in mind you could only sort within a domain (VMG or VTSx) -- you wouldn't want to sort all menus in the tree if it would mean crossing domains...

I also use DVD Architect (which happens to have a project tree). I don't see a way in DVDA to sort menus by name. Do you have an example of an authoring package that does allow you to sort the menus by name?

    Regards,
    George
