Hi all
I have ripped some episodic DVDs to my hard disc with the intention of making my own compilation. However it has always bugged me that the 5.1 mix of some of the files has poor volume balance.
What I would like to do is take the 5.1 ac3 file I have, and adjust the centre volume up and the .1 (LFE) volume down.
Is this possible without recompressing the other channels?
If not (or if so!) can someone give me a point in the right direction to achieve the best result possible?
Many thanks
Nick

I haven't seen an app which will allow you to adjust AC3 channel volumes without re-encoding.
