    I am trying to encode subtitles into a movie, which works just fine. But it always prints the text in the "middle" of the movie, meaning that the text is really high. How can I adjust this?

    The "Pos" field should let you enter a value to alter the position. Change the default "80" to something else. "0" for top position and "100" for bottom. More info on the Filters webpage.
