I have the canopus advc 110 goodie that i used to capture commercial VHS as well as TV taped programs on VHS. Both just give me scrolling frames on the pc screen. On playback i get the scrolling frames as well i.e. no stable picture. What am i doing wrong here ?
I just used Windoze Movie Maker to capture; will use Ulead Video studio 10 when i have finally activated the product.

Scrolling can result from selecting the wrong format (NTSC or PAL), the video is usually black and white too. There's a dipswitch on the bottom to switch between the two.
