  1. When i am finished a movie with the program convertXtodvd the movie plays in DVD but it seems to stop a bit about every seconds. Is this normal or if not , what can I do to fix it?

Try burning to better media. It could be that simple.

Everytime I tried to burn from Convertx to cheap media like the godawful Dataware, it resulted in pixelation during dark scenes. Burned to Verbatim the video plays perfectly.

I assume you mean you play the video file from ConvertX before burning?

You may have a corrupted video file. I assume a format like Xvid? If so, drop it into VirtualDub Mod and check it for errors. You may be able to save it out with VDM as a new file with Direct stream copy and fix it. Or, worst case, re-encode it with VDM to the same format. That fixes most problems.

Software players can ignore some errors that may show up later on converting to DVD and burning. VLC Media Player, for one, can play corrupted or partial video files.

  6. I tested WinAVI Video Converter and it looks like it didn´t have the same error. Can I use subtitles files with this program too?

@Wolfmania : Are you converting PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL ?
Personally, I wouldn't use WinAVI to wipe my butt.

@JackAuthor - please create your own topic, as you post has absolutely nothing at all to do with the Wolfmania's original or subsequent posts. This is called Hijacking a Thread, and is frowned upon in all organised forums.

jackauthor, I have to agree with guns1inger. Please create a new post if you wish to discuss 'super dvd creator' or a subject not directly related to the original posters question.

maybe you need to see the DVD Timestamp when you play your DVD on home DVD player. if the Timestamp jump too, then it because your DVD player is toooooo old to read a tinpot DVD Disc Media . sorry.
but if the Timestamp did not jump then it because the Converter software,it droped some frame or the converter is bug fill .
