  1. I am trying to convert a mpg-1 file to vcd format. The converted file has a noise, (clicking, popping sound). I checked the source file and it does not have the noise in it. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Did you reencode the sound?

  4. Yes I did reencode the sound alound with the video. I have also tried splitting the audio and video then joining them back together later. But it producted the same result.

I think the problem might be in the GOP struture, for some reason I was capturing onlym I frames. I do not know much about the GOP structure and I frames and the lot, so I'm going to go see what I can find about that. Any information would be apprecatied.

    Thanks
