  1. I need a little help here. I'm trying to burn a home made dvd for a Xmas gift i'm about to give and am getting burning errors.

I made a home made dvd with DVD Lab Pro 2 demo. I compiled the dvd with DVD lab pro 2 and it did not give me a single error. But then when I put the files in Nero Express(which I use to burn everything w/o errors, until now) it comes up and says "cannot reallocate files"...

Any clue as to what causes this error? The files are only like 400-500 MB, if that...

  2. I don't know if this would help, but maybe if you could put the "compiled dvd" through DVD Shrink. Of course you would put no compression. Just a thought.

The DVD structure is apparently messed up. You should be able to fix it with IFOEdit. Take a look at this page and scroll down to see the error and solution, from our friends at Digital Digest: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45942

You could also use ImgBurn to burn your VIDEO_TS folder and leave Nero out of the equation entirely.

  4. It won't go through DVD Shrink either.

I got IFOedit and followed the info on the above posted link and got nowhere. Have you done it before, maybe you can explain it clearer? I don't see how I could have done it wrong, it's pretty straight foward, but it didn't change a thing.

I have imgburn too, which replaced DVDDecrypter, however I can't even figure out how to burn to a disc with my .ifo, .vob and etc files...

    Thanks!

Try running it through fixVTS, then opening it in Shrink.

To burn in ImgBurn 2, set the mode to Build (Mode -> Build), select the folder below the Video_TS folder (i.e. the folder that the video_ts folder is in), and burn

  6. Finally got it to work, kinda. Ran it through ImgBurn then FixVTS and then verified w/ DVD Shrink and burned w/ Nero Express. But for some reason one of the two slideshows won't play. Gonna try going back over the links tomorrow, but all and all I got what I wanted.

Thanks so much for the help!
