I have created a set of slide show videos and I would like to include a collage that identifies each slide and the actual image files on the same disk so that viewers can print their own copies of the photos.

I tried created a data DVD with Nero 7 but it told me that the video would not be compliant and sure enough, two of my players wouldn't play it. Is there any way to do this?

You can create DVD video and then add a data folder (it is a good idea to use a short name for it).

I don't understand how to do that; Nero always asks for an empty disk. What's the secret to combining types this way?

Don't use Nero to burn DVD Video.

After authoring you will have a folder that has (probably) two folders in it. One is Audio-TS, the other is Video_TS. At the same level as these create a new folder called Photos (or Data or anything else you like). Copy your photos into this folder.

You can now use imgburn 2, the best DVD Video burning application yet written, to create you DVD Video disc.

Yes; that worked! Thank you so much. I've spent most of the day trying to get this done.

    Happy Holidays!
