It might be a slideshow program: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=28#28 Then there are some guides for slideshow DVDs: https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?searchtext=&tools=&madeby=&formatconversionselect=...or+List+Guides

    And welcome to our forums.

  3. If you want to make a picture slideshow there are several different programs out there that can do this for you. Such as:

    NeroVision
    DVD Slideshow GUI (Freeware)
    DVD-Lab Pro

I've tried all three and they work well.

I know that there are many others out there, probably most of your DVD authoring software offers the ability to make slideshows. Look in the tools section and see what is available.

There are a couple of programs I like to use. PhotoStory by Microsoft, you time your movies with the audio this works great. If want to edit the video you can use Movie Maker 2 which will allow you to edit and add audio. Ulead also have several product that are cheap that can get you going. I use PhotoStory and Ulead DVD Movie factory, If I need to do medium level editing I use Ulead Video Studio. There are a lot of programs and people will have many opinions I find that what you need to do is try out the different software then use what you like. It is not a matter of what I think is the best or the easiest but what you find the easiest.

One other thought about PhotoStory if you do use this, go to Google and search for the "PapaJohn" he has DVD and HD plugins which will make the images look great. If you are on Windows both PhotoStory and Movie Maker are free. I am not sure if DVD authoring is built into Movie Maker but there are free programs here in the tools section. Also PapaJohn has a lot of good tips for both PhotoStory and Movie Maker.

No, you import your still images and the programs will turn them into a video clip.

If you are going to use NeroVision, since you already have it, you can sync the length of the slideshow to the length of the audio as well. Give it a shot and see what you think of it. It's pretty easy to use, and comes with a few transitions that you can use between the slides to add some nice effects.
