    im using tempgnc express to convert an mpeg file to a WMV file, but tempgnc express doesnt like the audio and doesnt recognise it, why is this ??? the mpeg file was originally converted ffrom a vob file using VOB2mpg, can anyone suggest an answer to my problem :

    tempgnc is more of a video encoder. there are audio formats it doesn't handle like dts. it is much happier with pcm. find out what format the audio is in now. you may have to use an audio converter not tempgnc on it.

    Try using Windows Movie Maker - it accepts .mpg files and naturally creates WMV's by design.
