CinemaCraft SP Encoder -- won't take my AVI files

Has anyone played with this encoder? I have a trial copy and it will not accept my Sony DV avi files...give me an error. The documentation does not give any information on limitations for input files.

I got it to accept a short sample avi from some Ulead sample files, but the encoded mpg2 was terrible.

Anybody using this encoder?

U may need adobe premiere >> frame server >> to CCE 2.6 .
Maybe u need the sony dv codec.

Do a search, read the CONVERT (HOW TO - on the left green side bar).
