I want to create a DVD from a VHS of a football game. I have the Dazzle Hollywood DV-Bridge to convert the video to AVI on my system. What are the settings to encode this for best quality? I have a few options: Ulead's DVDMovieFactory, MyDVD, or TMPGEnc. Which one do you guys suggest and at what settings would get me the best quality? If I have to create on two DVD's, that is OK. I just want to get some very good quality.

    Thanks!!!!

700Mhz, 128 SDRAM, 10GB disk for OS and 60GB disk for video, Windows 98SE.

  3. Not familiar with Dazzle, but after that:
I believe that if you encode (using TMPGenc) for Ulead movie factory you must use 720x480, BR x-9600, sound at 48000, BR 96-384, aspect ratio 4:3. I'm inclined to max the motion search setting, but I think the faq recs using High.
not familiar with MyDVD, but that's not boosted much around here as far as I can tell.
it'll be a pokey encode on your system, but hey, it's forever.
