cant play this song on PC

I cant play this file with my Player (WMP and Winamp).

But when i surf on web( i download this song on the web, but cant play on my PC).

I'm using Win XP, WMP 10.

I think this song was encoded, wasnt ?

I can play it, but it's apparently somehow corrupted. The audio is intermittently there then not (the waveform visualization in WMP even shows the flat sections), repeating several times per second.

Without digging into it further, I suggest that the file itself is at fault.

Sorry, i description wrong.
I want to say, i listen this song online well, not corrupted.
But when i download, i cant play it as well as i listen on the web.

Well that is certainly a different link although it appears to be the same song.

Anyway, it (the new link) plays fine for me, both streaming and downloaded.

I listen well if i play online, but when i download, it is corrupted.

It is a different link than the one you posted in the first post.

And like I said, it streams fine for me and also plays fine when downloaded. Is that what you are trying to find out, whether other people have the same trouble playing it when it's downloaded? Because that is answered now: no.

Or are you trying to find out what is wrong with your PC that makes your playback of the downloaded song not work as it should? In that case I don't think I can help. WMP11 plays it just fine for me.

Ah, the first link is the link that i upload to my Freewebtown account.
(Freewebtown is the online storage files).

And the second link is the link that i listen on the web.
Yes, you play fine if you play online, but please download the second link, your WMP will play corrupted song.

I had the same probem as you, plays OK online but wouldn't play right off line.

You can use VLC to capture song. File/Open network stream.../check "HTTP....MMS" and enter URL. Check Stream output/Settings. Check File and enter name. Check Audio codec and select a codec.

I think this song isn't compatible with WMP 10, i'll upgrade above WMP 11.

I downloaded via the mms: link with FlashGet. The resulting file crashed Windows Media Player 6.4, played distorted with Musicmatch Jukebox, but played normally with Media Player Classic, VLC and Windows Media Player 11. Note that the file was not identical to the one at freewebtown.
