  1. I have a file in vcd format 70.32 mins long (720,509mb) and have followed instructions on this site to convert to SVCD format using the bitrate calculator.

    I enter in the length of the film in mins/sec, selct svcd, select 1x80 mon cdr, then use the average bitrate to enter in TMPGE after selecting svcd template.

    After encoding i get a file that is 1.2gb in size ??? why ??

    I was expecting the file to be 800-850mb in size...

    What does the bitrate parameter actually do ??

  2. im sorry but the ALL calcs on this site, java or progs are NOT correct!!!
