This surround sound system was purchased new about 6 months ago. My problem is the remote control just fails to work 95% of the time. I've replaced batteries 2 or 3 times in that period, just in case there's some kind of drain on the remote. No better even with brand new batteries. I've even bought an 'all in one do it all' remote, still doesn't work. (although I realise these don't do the lot, they should do the basics) The infra red sensor on the player is clean, as it is on both remotes.
Are there other things that can interfere with the remote signal? The only other things I've got with remote are the TV itself and a cable box. I'm really at the end of my tether with it now and would really appreciate some help.
