    I used the TMPGEnc "how to" section on this site to create an MPEG2 file to use with the DVDit! software, but the software gives me an error message that says the file is missing the first character of the GOP file. Can someone help?

    Thanks. Not only do I now have an understanding of GOP structure, but the settings worked like a champ with DVDit!. I'm back in business!
