    Hello,

    In Canada:
I can't seem to find a widescreen lcd computer monitor 20-22 inch that has pal support for the inputs (composite / component / dvi) i want to be able to play pal & ntsc dvd thru the inputs (svideo / component). It also has to be an lcd monitor that has hdcp dvi for when i upgrade the computer with blu ray

    any ideas??

i have been looking at samsung 215tw but most models seem to be ntsc only for the inputs

I have a couple of devices that will be playing ntsc & pal discs through the inputs

and have a number of pal dvds

    - Thanks
    Kevin

  3. The DVD-players usually can convert discs from PAL to NTSC.

Computer monitors rarely support video inputs. If they do it is NTSC or PAL not both. These are add on capability to allow the computer monitor to be switched to a low quality TV mode, say for a dorm or kids room. You might be able to order a PAL model from Europe, but it will never work for HD/BD DVD.
