I'm ripping a kids movie to my HD so that I can get rid of the dvd's on top of the player. I don't remember if I can mention the title so I won't. Anyway, I'm ripping it with DVDShrink and DVDDecrypter. I've done this sort of thing before (say 30 times?) to reauthor dvd's so I'm no newbie. Suddenly with this one no matter what I do I only get the spanish language track. The language tracks are Sp, En, Fr. No matter which one I select I only get Sp!! Tried with both ripping softs and still no change.

Don't know what else to try. Help?

Where are you seeing only sp?

Ripping copies all of the data from the disc to your HD, so if the other audio files exist, they should be on your HD.

RIP the disc using the latest DVDFab Decryptor. When it is complete, open the folder using DVDShrink.

I wasn't clear. I'm seeing all three langauge tracks in the ripping soft, but when I rip to HD with the English language track selected the resultant mpg, when played in WMP, is in Spanish. I'll try DVDFab (but I think I've used it in the past and had issues). DVD Shrink has always been so reliable; I'm surprised that it's not working.

My first thought was that the tracks were somehow mis-labeled, so I tried the spanish track instead, but still got spanish.

I use DVDFab Decryptor, RIP the whole image (not a selected portion) to the HD. Then use DVDShrink to choose what I want on the final DVD.

Seems like there is a "preferred" audio setting for the output (there is in DVDFab). But, like I said, I don't use DVDShrink to RIP.
