  1. Have been trying to get VCDs I have made run in my NAPA 330.

    Had a flicker at 1150 cbr
    read here that reducing the bitrate might help (despite also reading here that bit rate for vcd is 1150) reduced it to 1120 and it played worse.

    Anyone have any advice.

    As far as I know all other parameters for VCD are correct.
    They play fine on PC with various software players

    I have some doubt I am setting the aspect ratios correctly.
    on first screen. What determins the aspect ratio I set.
    eg if the output should be pal I have set it to 4.3 625 lines pal. Correct.

    Then in the advance screen what determins the aspect ratio here again I have used the same as above.

    But some of the templates seem to use 1:1 VGA for both settings.

  2. Load the template for NTSC/PAL VCD by clicking on the "Load" button on your lower right.
