Is there a preview feature hidden somewhere in DVD Lab Pro that allows the author to view what the final result will be like (Architect has such a feature and I would be very surprised if DLP did not have this)....?

Unfortunately, DLP does not have the same sort of preview as DVD Architect has
You have a couple of options to give you an "idea" of what it will be like, but they are not as good as an actual preview.
1) compile your project, and hit the option to do a TEST COMPILE -- the menus will work properly, but the actual video files will be replaced with dummy videos -- the TEST COMPILE is created very quickly.
2) Project / Generate Report -- there are several different types of reports -- but again, it is not a visual of how your menus will look. It's more like a report for your project flow/navigation
3) MENU / Simulate and MENU / Follow-Links -- this will give you a preview of your menu, and if you hit a button it will take you to the target. But it's not an actual preview...

George
