What Software allows me to simply & quickly create a DVD slideshow of jpeg pictures & avi movie clips intermixed together that will play one after another automatically in any DVD player?

    I use Windows XP Pro.

I have digital cameras that takes both JPEG pictures & AVI movies with Sound.
I want to create a simple DVD that will show the pictures & movies IN THE ORDER that I took them one after another automatically.

I have alot of jpeg pictures and avi movies with sound that I have taken with my digital cameras, so I want software that allows me to quickly and easily create a mixed slideshow of pictures and movies that play one after the other intermixed in the order they where originally taken in.

Any software recommendations and how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You for your time & happy holidays!

I use DVD Lab Pro myself, but it is not for everyone, and it is not the cheapest, especially for the casual user.

GUIforDVDAuthor seems to do a good job and is well maintained. I haven't used DVD Styler, so I have no basis for comparison.

  5. As long as you use the dvdauthor engine in GfD (the new development version supports muxman too), it is more or less your personnel preference. Technically there isn't much difference.

Thanks borax, I know that DVDStyler and GfD do basically the same gob (front end for DVDAuthor) I've had good results with DVDStyler and ffmpeggui for transcoding into dvd compliant source so I think I'll stick with it, I've too have been looking for a way to make a dvd picture album for family without computers and for free I think the solutions posted here will work.

I use dvdslideshowgui for this purpose. Free and 'compatible' with dvdauthor based programs.
