When you start up DVD Lab or DLP you should get offered a list of project types. One of these is Simple DVD (No Menu). Chose that and it is movie only.

Otherwise, simply delete the menu objects from the tree, drop your video and audio onto the movie object, and on the connections page make sure that both the VMG and First Play objects point at your movie.

when i open up dvd-lab i don't have the option that you mentioned(is that what they call the wizard?), only a tip. i didn't know per your 2nd option that the menu item can be deleted from the tree, but tried it and it worked. then tried playing with the connections, making sure the VMG and first play object are pointing at the movie. whew!!!!!!..simple, but i'm just clueless....A BIG THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Try this - click on File -> New and see if the dialog I mentioned earlier opens. If it does, tick the boc at the bottom marked Show everytime a new project is created, and you should see it next time you start up DLP.

I just noticed you are using DVD Lab and not DVD Lab Pro. As DVD Lab doesn't support multi-VTS authoring it probably doesn't need to offer the range of choices that DLP does.
