ENCORE DVD wrong highlight issue

hi - i posted this at the adobe user to user forums and had no help, so i thought I'd try here. I'm currently running encore 1.5

I have a button highlighting issue - there are two buttons, on opposite sides of the menu with plenty of buttons in between. Anyway, i have checked many times and all the links are correct and the routing is correct.

The problem is that though it highlights the button on the far left when i navigate onto it, when i *click* on it, it highlights a button on the far right momentarily before it goes to the other menu the button links to. It still takes me to the correct video for the button on the far left, so this problem isn't a disaster if i can't fix it but it is a little annoying all the same.

I read on an older post on the other forums that this was due to a bug in encore dvd - any bright ideas or ways around it? They didn't have any solutions.

I expect that if it appears to be a known bug in the software, then the only fix would be updating/upgrading the software (assuming of course they have now fixed the bug).

can't afford an upgrade, but thanks for replying anyway. it's not a huge probably, os i guess i can live with it.
