Video card does not matter. You need cpu, memory, storage space...in that order.

They do make video editing cards specifiaclly for that.

Explain more what you are trying to do and your budget. What camcorder are you using? What other HD source? There are several ways to edit and encode HD.Originally Posted by chris_j11
