In the past, I've used DVDauthorGUI to create DVD files that were larger than could be put on a DVD - later using DVDshrink to shrink them. But today, I attempted to do the same thing and got this:

The total byte-size of the folder I tried to create would have been 6.6 GB (2 titles, 1 menu). But DVDauthorGUI went through the motions without any problem ... until it got to the point of "Fixing VOBU" ... which is when the error popped up. And when I checked the directory created, noticed it full of VOBs ... but without IFO or BUP files. I had 20 GB of free space so it wasn't like I was running out.

Any ideas on how to get around this error? I checked the FAQ first and there is no explanation of error codes ... and checked the forum for mention of it and saw none. All help appreciated.

What version were you using? Where you using the alternate muxer? (tcmpex). Ive had been getting reports on tcmplex causing that error. I think I have it fixed in the latest versions.

Actually (blush), it was my own error. But, I now have a new issue I can't seem to solve.

I have three MPEG2 files I want to put on a single DVD. However, all three have different bitrate audio ... not to mention one being 16:9 while the other 2 are 4:3. Needless to say, they must be in different TITLESETS. The problem is that I don't want to use a menu. I want file #1 to start playing ... then file #2 when file #1 completes ... then file #3 when file #2 completes -- one after the other in sequence.

What would be the proper XML coding to do this?

P.S. I'm using v1.009 beta - and files are NTSC.
