I've undertaken a project-gift for my girlfriend's parents this christmas and have scanned about 350 pictures from family albums to make a Slideshow DVD. I've gotten familiar enough with the DVDit Pro interface and have a good idea what I'd like the finished DVD to look like.
I can structure the DVD and animate the menus (I hope) just the way I want them. But I think I will hit a snag here: The only options for animation of slideshow titles apply to slide transitions. Ideally, I'd like to animate the individual objects as well. (eg: for slide #1 I have pictures A and B and would like A to fly in from the left and B to fly in from the right, hold for a few seconds, than transition to slide #2) I've been able to do that in PowerPoint since the 5th grade but how can I get same results in a DVD authoring program?? I've seen a few freeware applications that convert .ppt to DVD files but then what happens to my DVD structure and menu architecture? Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks alot.
