    First off, I'm running OS 10.3.6 on an iMac G5. Recently (yesterday, in fact), I downloaded ffmpegx 0.0.9x to convert some video files to put on my ipod. However, whenever I try to convert a file...nothing happens. The little wheel-y thing at the bottom of ffmpegx spins, an icon for ffmpegx progress opens in the dock(?-The bar at the bottom of the screen)--and immediately closes. The ffmpegx progress window never even appears. This happens no matter what files I use or which formats I try to convert them to. Can anyone help?

    Unfortunately, they never found a solution to their problem
