    How can I shrink an 8 meg video file to send as an email?

    Use Windows Movie Maker and output to WMV. Might be worth a try. Should be compatible on your friends computer.

    * drop aspect size eg: 640x480 to 320x240
    * drop audio sample eg: 48000Khz 224kps to 44100Khz 112kps
    * drop frame rate (video will not look smooth though)
    * Use a good compression format ??wmv??
