Is there anyone way to convert from avi file type to vcd and keep it under 800 megs so it can fit onto one cd, without killing the quality?

one source of info you can get is if you download Sefy's templates. he has a readme file that explains his templates, what the resolutions are, what bitrates are set at, and how many minutes you can get on a cdr.in my experiance if you try to fit a whole movie about an hour and a half long on 1 cdr, then quality is not going to be anything to shout about. so i use 2 cdr's and a disk changer.......
