    Hi, the canon software manual says its possible to transfer images (stills) from PC to Memory card(sd). I have been trying to DL .jpg images onto the card.
    Each time I have tried I get a dialogue saying " This image wasn't taken with the camera. Unable to view image in the camera window." Then I get the option to 'skip' or 'close'.

    Can anyone tell me a workaround or how to solve this problem?

    Just a guess - Maybe you have to ensure that the photos (jpgs) are exactly sized to 1024 x 768? I believe that is the max resolution that your camcorder stills are saved as.

    Naming conventions could also be another issue?

    Hi minko, yeah, I suspect it's probably something like that. I might try contacting canon about it.
    I could be on a wild goose chase otherwise.
