Can't download mencoder or mplayer

I was able to download mpeg2enc but no luck getting the other 2 from http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mplayerosx/ffmpegXbinaries20060307.zip. Is the site down temporarily? Is there another source for those files? Thanks.

Also, I'm a complete newbie: All I'm looking for it to be able to rip some DVD scenes to edit them in Final Cut Pro (FCP). I can get the VOB files out but only the video imports into FCP, not the audio. Do I understand correctly I should be able to convert the VOB file into some other format that will allow me to do this.

You should extract with the "D" flag enabled in MTR so as it will export m2v video and ac3 audio streams that you can import in FCP.

re your second comment, I'm not sure what you're talking about (forgive my ignorance). I used DVDdx to rip the files. Are you suggesting I use MacTheRipper instead. Thanks!
