  1. Well look i have a bunch of vcds taking so much space how can i convert them to avi with a lower storage size and still keep the quality if that is even possible please help me out. thanks in advance

  2. You can extract the MPEG files from your VCD's and compress them with DivX using VirtualDub. You'll be compressing a "lossy" file though, so there will be a quality loss to a degree. Setting a bitrate between 600 and 910 will usually give you a good quality DivX and still result in a smaller file.

    Extract the MPEG files using VCDGEAR. Read the help here:
