    Hi!
    I need some help i'm a newbie at "copying" dvds and need some help.
    I have friend in the states that sent me a region 1 dvd that i cant play on my dvdplayer cause it only plays region2 dvds.
    But how do i make a copy that works in my region 2 dvdplayer??.
    I have tried dvdshrink but i dosent work ??!.
    How should i do this cause i really wanna watch this movie on my dvdplayer/tv and not on my computer.. how do i make a copy that i can watch in my dvdplayer??.

    IIRC, DVDShrink removes the region protection code if you don't tell it to do otherwise. If not, tell it to remove the region protection code.
    Chances are that you're dealing with a TV system problem tho... - RPC should affect computer playback as well, if you haven't made your computer DVD reader region free.

    Well i dont know cause i can watch the movie on my computer with out
    a problem.
    I used dvdshrink but the dvdplayer shows a screen with an "error" message and it says: the disc is not formatted to play this region.
    but my tv can play ntsc format cause i have another movie that is ntsc format but i dont think its region protected
    and that one works??.

    Try ripping it again, and set DVDShrink to set RPC to 2. OTOH, I think some players use that as a generic error message for DVDs it can't play - could also mean wrong TV system, but you say it plays NTSC (as most PAL players)...
    If you rip with DVDDecrypter?
