    Hi,

google and youtube wont take my videos in HD so I am having to lower their quality. Should I just start recording in a lower mode or is google going to raise the bar soon??

Either way please check out my video and tell me if it is as good as i can get it without being HD... I am not sure what specifications to make the videos so.... please be in touch

    thanks

    Danielle

You seem to be from planet x but upload standards are shown here. If you take them literally, which I don't, 100MB of DV or HDV is around 25 seconds.

They are really looking for standard def Divx or WMV.

If you want more time, submit 352x480 or 352x240.

    Right then,

We are using 640x480 and i am having to lower quality of the videos and what not in order to upload them. I downloaded the desktop video uploader so that I can upload larger videos but my question is, should i no longer record the video in HD just to lower the quality each time... seems like a waste

    thanks

  4. Is Google/YouTube your only target for the videos?

Google youtube has a large amount of traffic in comparison with others although I do plan to post elsewhere and on my own site www.nanorider.com once it is up and running google and youtube are key drop spots for these videos.

    did you have a suggestion?

  6. I was just wondering if your target is online only.

I would still record in the highest quality you can - you never know when someone may come to you for higher quality. And many HDV camcorders let you send downconverted SD video to the computer.

    YES, online only!

I have recently done another video or two. I reckon the lighting is a lot better with these two, well the one is outside, so I should imagine it would be better.

Let me know what you think.
