Strange problem with TMPGEnc Plus.

I'm reencoding TV series for DVD. All ten videos were downloaded from the same source and are all divx videos. Four of ten videos, though, won't convert normally. I'm trying to set them all to 19.9% of disc capacity, but these four will only go to 45.63%. Also, TMPGEnc reports their duration as twice the actual duration, and the resulting mpeg also shows that inaccurate duration.

Any idea what's causing this, and how to make it stop?

I'm reencoding the videos first in VirtualDub for now, but I worry that this problem might come up again.
