I'm not sure if this is the right section for this question, but here goes.
Does anyone know any screen capture programs (freeware or pay)that will still work with images under programs like ArtistScope, Copysafe and others of the like?
This is a bit of a challenge so far. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?
Thanks

If you mean things from webpages ... just noticed copysafe requires java .
Mwsnap for stills and camstudio for video type capture .
"If it's on your screen ... it's your's to keep"
Even ie , save webpage as mht .
Seem's lame if it expects to find java installed ... maybe that's why it dosent work here . -
If you read the blurb about Copysafe, it states that it prevents screen capture, too. This is possible using Windows security model. You can create a window that the OS will refuse to let another application grab.
The obvious way around it - set the display to 640 x 480, output to a graphics card with S-video output and capture it as video!John Miller -
Thanks for that. I wil try these to see if they will do the trick.
Again, thanks for your time. -
If you right click on the image...what error message do you receive?

it is a simple question i think .
Whatever you see on the screen can be captured with some professinal software like snagit and ACA Capture Pro.
Even if you can't simply save it you can draw a rectangle including the image with software above and save it . -
Many of these things only work in IE, if you're using Opera or Firefox you can just save images as usual. If not, while the image is displayed, go to your cache directory and copy out the last few image files and browse them with an image viewer. Almost always you'll find it that way.

Do you have a link where one of these images is used in a live enviroment froma regular site?

I ran across a video yesterday that Camstudio could not record. It was playing through Mediaplayer(the latest version)...so I used WMRecorder.

If you're referring to images or pages you're viewing with a browser and you happen to be a Firefox user you could try Abduction. It'll capture whole pages as an image even if the page scrolls off the screen.
If you're referring to capturing copy protected standalone documents such as PDFs etc that'd probably be a different story.
