I'm building a media center PC with Vista x64 (see the system specs in my profile), and cannot find a TV tuner card that clearly lists support for digital HDTV (HBO-HD, Discovery HD, etc). All the HD cards I have found require an analog antenna and can only receive standard channels in HD (NBC, PBS, etc). In addition, I have only found one card (Divco FusionHDTV5-RT Gold) that fully supports Vista x64. This particular card lists support for digital cable, but it is unclear from the manufacturer's documentation if it supports digital HD channels, or just digital SD & analog HD.
I understand that all these standards are pretty new, but it seams to me that using an analog antenna like the good ol' days kind of defeats the purpose of having a sophisticated media center pc.
    So basically my question is:
Is there any TV tuner card into which I can plug coax cable directly from my wall and watch/record digital HDTV in Vista x64?

You have 2 issues, first you want a card that can decode digital HD channels. They should be too market shortly if not already. TV Tuners typically keep up with current video trends. Second, you specifically listed HBO, tuner cards typically work with the "standard" channels, but not the "pay" channels. You should be able to get a digital HD decoder card, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for one to handle the "pay" channels.
