No Seek Complete Error while burning

So, i got these new media, benQ 8x (daxon08S)

Now i burned the first one of the spindle with IMGBURN and it burned and verified fine. The 2nd and 3rd went all wrong. At 4% of the burn i get a no seek complete error, after 20 retries it fails the burn, showing a sector range were the error happened. Used also nero to no avail, same problem (pic below). Now before wasting more and more media, did anyone have the same problem? Or someone who knows how to solve it?

My last smartbuy batch all went fine with this dvdrw, its almost brand new (1-2 months old)

The media list shows mixed results with this MediaID. (See link at left)

Your drive appears to be a product of a relatively new Sony/NEC joint venture with little history.

Check for firmware updates.

Avoid this combination.

When my liteon died i got a NEC3550A but had problems with it. IT would write perfectly but wouldn't read its writes. Then i changed that to this drive and works perfectly. If i remember correctly i've burned same media before (Benq like the ones i have) with this Optiarc drive too and those went fine. Now i really don't know what to do. I'm a bit afraid of flashing the drive since it can ruin and void my warranty if done bad.

Can it be a software problem? Since the first disk went fine i can't see the problem as the media's fault :/

Have you checked the old media to ensure it was the same media code? There are often bad batches of media, even if the media codes are the same. Try a disc from the bottom of the spindle.

The easiest solution is to just try a different media. If that also fails, then you most likely have a hardware issue.

Well, got some updates

Tried another Smartbuy ProdiscF01, Metallic Orange. Worked fine at 6x. No problems all the way through he burn.

Tried rebooting, uninstalling the dvdrw and reinstalling etc, still same problem with the benq media. Giving that error at stopping @ 4% - 6%

Or it is a bad bunch, or my drive isn't compatible. Still if someone has experinec on this error and can help its really appreciated.
