Whenever I import a video from my hardrive into Ulead it freezes up and shuts down. But if I put the same file in Nero and export it with the sound down and import it into Ulead it works fine. Pretty much if it has sound it freezes Ulead and shuts down. Am I doing something wrong or do I ned to tweak settings or something?

How do I edit out different section/clips of video on Ulead?

What sort of video ? The term video covers a pretty wide area, and not everything works nicely with all video types. Personally, I wouldn't use a DVD authoring tool to do editing. I am a firm believer in using the best tool for each job, and the better results far outweigh any minor or perceived inconvenience of having to use more than one tool.

WombleVCR, VideoRedo or one of the free tools in the Tools section. You could also try re-installing DVDWS2. If every video is locking it up then you have some bigger problems.

If I cut down the sound on the clips in Nero and export/save them then load them on Ulead they are fine but if I just import them automatically without Nero then it freezes. So, I may have to re-install DVDWS.

It is embedded into the video already. It is LPCM audio, I believe.
