hey everyone, I'm in a bind here. I just picked up one of these and whenever I insert a tape, it just sits there for a few seconds, then ejects it. All the switces seem to be in the correct place as far as I know. Before I bought it, they said that they tested it and it played tapes just fine, So I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem?

also it seems that this product never existed on panasonic's website. so I cant download a manual.

  2. There is apparently something wrong with it.

The AG-7750 is an industrial/broadcast S-VHS editing recorder. They were very expensive when new, and are usually expensive to get fixed. However, yours may have a very minor problem.

You may be able to find out more about it at here:

    Does it work with anything?

Be aware that most pro SVHS decks won't work at LP and ELP speeds. Not even for playback. It's all SP baby.

it does not work with anything, even with LP or ELP speeds, it should not just eject it right away. I took the lid off to to see what it's doing, and when the tape goes in and it does not even pull the tape out of the cartridge to read it.

Did it work before? Can you return it?

These are microprocessor controlled similar to a car. Panasonic service can read the error codes.

unfortunatly no, I cant return it.. I think it may have been damaged during shipping, but I'm not sure. the previous owner said he ran tests on it before it was sent out and it worked fine, but he is trying to help me out with it. Also I have contacted UPS to see why there was a label on the box that said "repackaged"
i wish I can find a manual for this thing.
