Hi there!
I try to extract subs from DVD's, but ffmpeg does not create any .srt file. What am I missing here? I already tried 5 dvd's, select the desired subs, the format (.srt), but no .srt file is created...
When I try to create just the .srt file, it asks me to select encode video or audio...
Any ideas?
I'm on a macbook pro.

Yes, I did got the Video_TS decrypted and copied to my HD.
I thought that encoding it would also extract the subs... I'm trying "Extract" now.
But one thing is not clear to me: ffmpeg does not do OCR, right? So how does it gets SRT files?
Also, a bit off-topic: if subtitles on DVD's are actually images, how come that you can change subs fonts on programs like mplayer?
Cheers, and thanks for answering!
