error in neros vision 3 xpress? txt log included

so i tried burning a couple files to dvd in nero but i got a fail error while doing so, i saved my log and attached it could someone tell me maybe why it happened?

All it says the "convert" section raised an exception (i.e crashed).

If you are trying to use Nero to "create" a DVD from an avi file (for example), you will need to do a little reading and use a better tool.

For a "single click" solution, try: ConvertXToDVD

For better results, you need to learn to convert to dvd compliant mpeg files and how to author a dvd.

What is saw was:

[13:44:23] NeroVision TA-Status 0x02 (0x01, SCSI_TASTATUS_CHKCOND)
[13:44:23] NeroVision Sense Key: 0x05 (KEY_ILLEGAL_REQUEST)

That doesn't mean much, but it appears to be trying to check the conditon of the writer and didn't get back a report. Strangely enough, it says down lower that the burn was sucessful.

But I would agree to try a different tool.
