    I'm looking to put 2 DVD's onto 1 but the 2 DVD's have 2 different audio's

the first is LPCM 2-ch and uses 1281MB and the 2nd is 140MB and uses MPEG1 2-ch so obviously the quality on the 1st DVD will suffer due to the audio size if I decide to shrink at all

I know how to do it using this guide HERE but I would like to know if there are any programs that do the whole process for you without doing the messy stuff yourself

I don't really fancy blowing the dust off Vobedit, Ifoedit etc as I haven't touched them in ages

    cheers

well I always give a thumbs up for the analog realtime dub process. Hook up another dvd player and dub away. Since its already stereo only you won't lose any audio information but you will compress to mp2 or ac3 depending on your capture device. Of course your picture won't be quite as crisp as if you had kept the original source digitally. BUT it would be a one shot realtime deal that way.

JUST suggesting an alternative for you if you don't want to get digitally dirty doing it the long way

thanks Yoda but I'm not looking to do anything like that

all I'm looking to do for now is convert the audio by running it through a program and it will leave the video alone but convert the audio and spit it out at the end

so rather than a video shrinker (e.g. DVDShrink) I'm looking for a simple audio shrinker tool without having to do the demux/remux process myself

The laziness of people never ceases to astound. Too lazy to do the job properly and too lazy to write a tool to do it for them.

    You could try ConvertXtoDVD
