  1. hi all......im trying to make a avcd of my childs christmas play....i ripped the mini dvd from my handycam with dvdshrink....
    can anyone point me in the right direction?......i have nero startsmart...thanks

  2. Heres a choice of tools for you to try. Sorry I get into specifics but its been years since Ive made a vcd. I think I used "TMPGEnc and virtualdub". Old versions

    Why not use DVD and not lose any quality?

    If you have to go the VCD route, take a look left under CONVERT, DVD to VCD.

    "AVCD" can be a daunting project, especially if you aren't even familiar with standard VCD. Just so we're on the same page, what are you specifically meaning by that term? (I know what I think of)...
